32 Rooms of Books? Heavenly.

I'm finally on spring break. This weekend Violet and I are going to visit my sister. Yay! I'm excited. I'm already online scoping out good Indian restaurants and fun places to see. It's going to be great. Look what I found: The Book Loft.

Nerdgasm! A discount book store a city block long! Thirty-two rooms of books! This place is my dream and I cannot believe that I have never been to it. I'm going to need a lot more shelves. It's in the German Village and it's really pretty, so I'll update with pictures while I'm there.

What else has transpired since I last wrote? Hmmm. Let's see. OH! You remember my iPod Touch? Yes, the one I got for free when I ordered my laptop. It's an iPod with a touch screen, internet and apps. (It's basically a neutered iPhone, in case you haven't seen one.) Yeah, that one.

Well it went missing after I left it here for Violet to play with while I was in class one day. She had been playing with it just fine the six months since I got it and was always really good with it. I couldn't find it when I got back but I didn't think much of it. Violet and her dad both denied having seen it. Days went by and I still didn't see it anywhere, but things get misplaced here on a regular basis. Well...

Wednesday is trash pick-up day. Okay. Thursday she tells me that she "maybe threw away the iPod." It's long gone. I have searched everywhere just in case she was fibbing. I cannot believe she THREW IT AWAY!

But... how can I stay mad at someone who says "I need to dance!" and runs and puts on a purple sequined headband and her purple shoes when she hears a song that she likes? I can't. And she knows it.

Other than that I have been neglecting this blog so I could focus on midterms. So far I have all A's again this semester. Yeeeeeaaaaahhh.

Well, I hope you are all doing well! Back to Spring cleaning. Here are some photos for you.

My kid is trying out for the Fame remake I guess. Note the purple sequined headband.

Here are the crooked pictures in the hallway. No matter how many times you straighten them they end up like this again within 5 minutes.

What a lovely little spirit she is!

I checked out the link for the bookstore and I'm uber jealous!! Totally cracked up at "nerdgasm". I'm a bookaholic myself. That place could be quite dangerous!

She's a doll baby. Sorry about the iTouch! Maybe it will mysteriously show up some time...

Have fun at the bookstore. I'm looking forward to lots of pictures! :-)

Dude, your little baby has grown into a little child! I can't believe how big she is.
If I ever get another business license and decide to become an entrepreneur, I am going to open a book/music store. That would be so awesome. Have a great time in Ohio.
