A Delayed Introduction...

But here he is! This is our chinchilla, Chiru. I thought I had posted about him before but apparently not. He's a good boy. Stays up late, but he's quiet.

Being cute.

Okay, we have a new mouse. Now let's work on a new keyboard. That one's looking a little crusty. (Hey, don't blame me! That's from the computer Jeremy used for online gaming for years. I dusted it with compressed air once and an entire Subway footlong came out of those keys, in crumb form of course.)

He is adorable. How are they as companions? Cuddly, aloof, smart, introverted? I had pet rats, and they were so smart, playful, loved to cuddle and kiss. Followed me all over, wanted to be in my lap or on my shoulder. How I do miss those babies.

Sidd, I also had pet rats years ago. Chins are more aloof, but they can be cuddly too. If you get them young, especially. They are pretty smart but chewing on everything is their main goal in life. They are cute so it makes up for the aloofness.
