Update on Camera Sitch

I just got an email saying that my Canon I sent in for repair was fixed and is on it's way back. Yay! In case you didn't read the previous post about this incident (which was mysteriously deleted hours after posting a week or so ago), the lens on my camera somehow got stuck and wouldn't retract. Weird. It gave me the fatal lens error that some Canon models are notorious for. Good timing though, as I had only a few weeks left under warranty. Hopefully it won't happen again.

;) So please look forward to the photos I plan on taking of the "How To Survive an Atomic Bomb" manuals I recently unearthed, as well as the creepiest freaking object I think I have ever seen. I'll skip trying to even describe that one; You just have to see it. I have been cleaning out the den and basement again. They are chock-full of weird goodies.

Hey, where's our "How to Survive and Atomic Bomb" pics? Last time I saw info on that, it said to get under your desk and cover your eyes. Yeah, that'll save you.
