How is she still defending this stance when it so clearly did not work for her family? She still wants to to impose it on others. I think the parents should be responsible in explaining all this to their kids, but seriously you know that plenty do not bother at all. The resources should be available for the teenagers who have uninvolved (or in denial) parents. Especially a 17 year old.
Also, did she name her kids from a mixture of Charmed and Buffy characters and the cut-up technique, or what? Look:
- Track
- Willow
- Piper
- Trig
- Bristol

Suffice it to say, I agree. Basically this approach leaves the sex educcation in the hands of the children who WILL talk about it and come to their own conclusions which could conclude in pregnancy.
